I launch from Appalachia Bay just off Hwy 412 / {64} 

This is a hands on fishing trip,

I put out a few lines the night before and you pull in the fish. 

You never know what you are going to pull in; it's a lot of action.

As soon as we get the lines pulled in we start pole fishing.  

Spring 2011 the big cats are biting like crazy!

Location (2) *Verdigris River,  (Rogers Point, Catoosa)

This trip is all about fishing for flathead catfish and eagle watching.

 Cooking your fantastic catfish filletts is a snap! Begin with a dry rub, (marinate) the night before cooking.

Basically, salt, lemon pepper or "Emeril's All Natural Fish Rub". 

(Not too much salt). 

Key is the egg wash.  Whip two eggs add a little bottled water with a whisk.  

Dip the marinated catfish fillets in the egg wash, roll the catfish filletts in seasoned Italian bread crumbs and a little yellow corn meal.

(Add Sesame seeds for texture) Oh my goodness fish this good is off the charts tasty!!

I'd like to thank the owner and operator of sun and moon fishing adventures (Steve Walker) for the great time. My high school buddies and I booked an adventure with Sun and Moon and we were treated with the best time we've had in years. The fishing was outstanding and the time spent has made for some lifelong memories. Before we left my friends and I booked another adventure for this upcoming fall. We can't wait!!! Fall trip was awesome, this was the closest I have ever been to Bald Eagles.
